HAPPY BIRTHDAY BOB MARLEY !!!

Happy Birthday to the legend Robert Nesta Marley ! For those of you who might not know Bob Marley is a Jamaican reggae singer and song writer , musician and guitarist .He is if not the most recognized reggae singer worldwide . His mother a African Jamaican and his father a European Jamaican .He died at the age of 36 and would have been 70 years  old today.He changed the way music was viewed and used it to spread positivity and love . He believed in 'One Love' and that we are all humans , no matter what race or religion or country we are from and that we should all love each other .His music is inspirational and his music is different . He was a man that believed in peace and unity .

Marley was conscious of his surroundings after being grown in St.Ann and then Trenchtown , rural parts of Jamaica . He saw the conditions around him . He was a Rastafarian as heard through his music and believed in the legalization of marijuana .He died at an early age but for people like myself Bob Marley will always be an inspiration and a good role model .His music is good and positive and if ever anyone could define good music Bob Marley's music would be at the top of the list . It holds more than a catchy beat.

It is rare when we are blessed with such special individuals and even though he died too soon from cancer , he made his mark and changed the way we viewed life .But most importantly he left his message with us . One Love . On his death bed before he died it is said his last words to his son Ziggy Marley was "Money can't buy life " .

So happy birthday to a man who was an advocate for social change and an inspiration to all , reminding us that we all have a voice and that we are One people and we should practice One Love !!!
