They told me it would come
The resounding crack
It would hit me like the world had fallen on my back
As I sat there staring at the emerald green
Palm trees swaying in the gentle breeze
It rode in on Saturday's waves
And I nearly drowned from all of the pain
And right before I sucked in the crisp white air
My eyes filled with water , it was going to rain
I prayed God have mercy on my soul
For this heart break was worse than anything they had ever told
And if I never survive
I want the world to know this is how I died
